Netanyahu received a map from Trump

US president has sent Israeli Prime Minister a map which shows the occupied Golan Heights, which belongs to Syria, as part of Israel, signing the image and writing the word 'nice' on the map.

Iran Press/Middle East:  White House senior adviser Jared Kushner on Thursday gifted Zionist regime's prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu a map that showed territory of occupied Golan Heights as part of Israel, Iran Press reported.

Trump signed the image and in a silly manner wrote the word, 'nice' on it.

Earlier in May, Trump had signed a proclamation in which the United States had recognized the strategic plateau of Golan Heights as Israeli territory, breaking with decades of US policy.

European Union member states have not recognised Israeli 'sovereignty' over the occupied Golan Heights, which according to international law belongs to Syria.

Also on 26 March 2019, five European countries that sit on the UN Security Council, rejected US President Donald Trump's decision to recognise the Golan as Israeli territory, and voiced their concern over the move, saying it could have serious repercussions.

In April four Jewish Democrats in the US House of Representatives warned Zionist regime prime minister not to annex West Bank territory, which is exactly what Benjamin Netanyahu pledged during his electoral campaign.

The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, won a fifth term in office in the April elections after his right-wing Likud Party won 35 of the Knesset's 120 seats. He had until 21:00 GMT on Wednesday to form a cabinet that controlled at least 61 seats in the 120-member parliament.

But despite weeks of negotiations, Netanyahu failed to bridge the gap between his potential allies and failed to form a government.

The Knesset on Wednesday voted by 74 to 45 to dissolve itself, triggering a snap election which will be held next September.   213/211/209
