Yemen's Houthis targeted Saudi Arabia's Abha airport in the south of the country with an unmanned aerial vehicle, a drone.

Iran Press/Middle East: Yemen’s Houthi movement launched a new drone attack targeting the Abha regional airport in southern Saudi Arabia, the group’s Al-Masirah Television reported on Monday.

There was no immediate confirmation of the attack by Saudi Arabia.

The Houthis have launched several strikes targeting Abha since last week, when a missile attack on the airport wounded 26 people.

On Saturday, the group said it launched drone attacks on Abha and Jizan, another airport in southern Saudi Arabia.

Saudi authorities have said the Houthi attack on Saudi Arabia's Abha airport on Wednesday wounded 26 mercenaries.

The Houthis' spokesman had issued a warning on Friday to airlines and civilians to avoid Saudi airports and military sites threatening further attacks.

"We tell the Saudi regime that our operations against airports and military sites will continue as long as the Saudi aggression against our country continues,” spokesman Yahya Sariee said in a Facebook post.

The Saudi-led Coalition's brutal aggression since March 2015 to restore fugitive president Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi to power has led to the death and injury of tens of thousands of Yemeni civilians. The brutal Saudi-led airstrikes are continuing, with many hospitals, schools, residential buildings being targeted by the indiscriminate airstrikes. 213/211/207
