Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in his latest Tweet released on Tuesday said that Viruses including terrorism know no border and they do not distinguish between ethnicities or faiths.
Zarif stressed that to combat COVID19 more regional cooperation including overdo joint center for disease Control and Preventions will be necessary.
on the same day, Iranian ambassador to Ankara Mohammad Farazmand met with Turkish Health Minister Fakhruddin Koja to discuss recent developments related to the Coronavirus.
Furthermore, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu in a phone conversation discussed the latest situation of the coronavirus and ways to counter it on phone late on Monday.
They also stressed the need for maintaining transactions while observing all sanitary and preventive measures.
The virus has now spread to more than 30 other countries, including Iran, the US, Britain, Australia, Thailand, South Korea, Japan, Canada, France, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
According to the World Health Organization, the epidemic has peaked at its epicenter in China, where it has killed more than 2,600 people and infected over 77,000 others.
But the situation has worsened elsewhere with nearly 2,700 other cases and more than 40 deaths globally.
