Iran Press/Iran news: In response to remarks by US President Donald Trump, who called his son-in-law an extraordinary leader for Israel and said the US presence in West Asia was only for Israel's sake, Zarif said: "[This shows] why seven trillion hard-earned US taxpayer dollars and so many American lives have been sacrificed."
Zarif attached a report published by Jewish Telegraphic Agency regarding President Donald Trump's spending much of his 20-minute call with American Jewish leaders making the case for more American Jews to vote for him.
In a meeting with leaders of the American Jewish community on Wednesday, Trump also referred to the US withdrawal from the Iran Nuclear Deal, also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) at the request of the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and called for more American Jews to vote for him in the November elections.
