Iran Press/ Middle East: Mohammad al-Bakhiti, a member of the Yemeni Ansarullah movement's political council said that last night's drone and missile operations against Saudi military targets in Riyadh were part of a "legitimate right" defence operation.
A member of the political council of the Yemeni Ansarullah movement called the Saudi regime's claim of attacking civilian targets baseless and stressed that all of these targets were military, and the claims of attacks on civilian centers by the Saudis are false.
Al-Bakhiti also said that the missiles and UAVs hit their targets in a precise way, and given the fact that a large number of Saudi troops in the area, the enemy appears to have suffered heavy casualties.
Yemeni military spokesman Yahya Saree said in a statement on Tuesday that Yemeni forces had launched the largest offensive operation this morning, titled 'The Fourth deterrent balance', against the Saudi capital.
Yahya Saree added that Yemeni forces hit and destroyed the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Intelligence, the Salman Air Base and some military positions in Riyadh, Jizan and Najran during the fourth deterrent balance operation.
According to a spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, the operation was carried out with a large number of "Quds" and "Zulfiqar" ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as UAVs.
