Iran Press/ Iran news: According to Iranpress, Ali Mostofian, Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of North Khorasan Province, said on Saturday that the With-chukhe wrestling ritual of Esfarayen County was registered in Iran's tourism events calendar.
Traditional and local rituals in different regions of Iran play an important role in the development of tourism, and in the meantime, the traditional With-chukhe wrestling of Esfarayen has been registered in the national tourism calendar of Iran.
The traditional ceremony of Esfarayen 's With-chukhe wrestling is considered the biggest single-place and one-time tourism event in Iran and is held every year on the 4th of April in the Zeinal-Khan Wrestling Arena of Esfarayen City.
In 2008, Esfarayen 's With-chukhe wrestling was registered as a spiritual heritage in the Iran National Heritage List
Zeinal-Khan Wrestling Arena is a natural stadium for With-chukhe wrestling in Esfarayen, Iran.
