Iran Press/ Iran news: The Special Assistant to the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament for International Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said on Thursday that "the United States and three European countries (France, Britain and Germany) have violated the 2015 nuclear deal, officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), or withdrawn from the agreement so that not even a barrel of Iranian oil would be sold, and not a single dollar would be credited to Iran's banking system."
Amir-Abdollahian added: "Of course, the efforts and will of Moscow and Beijing are in the direction of friendship and cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran and confrontation with unilateral US sanctions."
The special assistant to the speaker of the Iranian Parliament for international affairs said that the law of 'Strategic Action to Lift Sanctions and Protect the Rights of the Iranian Nation' creates great opportunities for the Iranian government.
The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf announced the law dubbed as the 'Strategic Action to Lift Sanctions and Protect the Rights of the Iranian Nation' on Wednesday to be implemented by Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.
The 9-article law requires the Iranian government to suspend the voluntary implementation of the Additional Protocol to the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) three months after the ratification of it if the parties to the nuclear deal between Iran and world powers, officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), failed to uphold their obligations under the accord.
According to the law, the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) will be required to produce and store at least 120 kilograms of enriched uranium with 20 percent purity at the Fordow nuclear facility every year to fulfill the country’s peaceful industrial demands.
