Iran Press/Iran News: Answering the correspondents on Saturday, Mousavi said out of the 208 constituencies, the names of the elected representatives of 82 constituencies have been finalized and determined so far with all the votes counted in those constituencies.
Mousavi added that the results of major cities will be announced on Sunday, adding that most constituencies' results will be rechecked and recapitulated by the end of Saturday.
He also said the results of the first midterm elections for the fifth term of the Assembly of Experts will be announced on Saturday.
The spokesman of Iran's Election Headquarters noted that the turnout will be announced when all the votes have been counted and when the results of the last constituency have been confirmed.
"Also, the names of the leading contenders were announced in the Tehran elections, with Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf leading the list," he added.
Iran's 21 February parliamentary elections were held across the nation.
Nearly 58 million people were eligible to vote on preselected lists of candidates for Iran's 11th parliamentary elections.
The Iranian Parliament, officially known as the Islamic Consultative Assembly, is a 290-seat legislative body with 207 constituencies. Its members are elected every four years, and former and current members can be re-elected.
On the other hand, the Assembly of Experts is a deliberative body of 88 theologians tasked with choosing the Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Members of the assembly are elected every eight years.
