Iran Press/ America: The bill, spearheaded by Senator Ted Cruz, is expected to attract wide bipartisan support due to what the news portal said was a growing US appetite to punish Russia for its use of so-called Iranian-made weapons in the special military operation in Ukraine.
The legislation targets Russia’s participation in several Iranian nuclear projects, including its ongoing work to redesign and modernize the Arak nuclear reactor currently. The bill also takes aim at Russia’s operations and training at the Bushehr nuclear power plant, as well as its role in transferring and storing Iranian heavy water.
