Iran Press/ America: Jill Stein and her Campaign Manager and Deputy Campaign Manager, Jason Call, and Kelly Merrill-Cayer, have been arrested at Washington University in St. Louis while supporting a protest against WashU’s ties to the war on Gaza.Students at US universities and colleges are continuing their campus demonstrations to vent their anger at Israel's genocidal war on Gaza as American police intensify violent crackdowns.
Such demonstrations began to spread across college campuses in the United States after New York police removed a pro-Palestinian protest encampment at Columbia University on April 18 and arrested more than 100 people.
Since then, police have made hundreds of arrests to break up peaceful protests and clear encampments.
Protests against Israeli crimes have spread to Canadian universities.
