Iran Press/ Iran News: The UN atomic watchdog's Board of Governors passed an anti-Iran resolution drafted by the US, UK, France, and Germany on Thursday rejected by Tehran as political pressure.
The resolution says the board "decides it is essential and urgent" that Iran explain "the origin of the uranium particles" claimed discovered by IAEA inspectors and want Iran to answer all IAEA questions.
The Iranian diplomat also highlighted that Iran is committed to the implementation of the Comprehensive Safeguard Agreement, and will continue to cooperate with the IAEA based on the accord.
Iran had previously warned the Western parties about the consequences of this illogical and destructive action, and in response to the recent action of BoG, the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran started several measures in the presence of inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency in the enrichment complexes of Shahid Ahmadi Roshan (Natanz) and Dr. Alimohammadi (Fordo),".
A Resolution cooked by US and EU3 as a political pressure
Nasser Kanaani, in his weekly presser on Monday, about the recent resolution of the International Atomic Energy Agency against Iran, said: "Iran's response is proportionate to the recent resolution of the IAEA BoG. A resolution that was unfortunately approved by the political action of the US Administration and three European countries in a political approach and they actually imposed political pressure on the Board of Governors."
Kanaani about the details of Iran's response said: The Atomic Energy Organization, will inform its actions and I am not in a position to talk about the matter.
Iran's peaceful nuclear program; the most transparent in the world
This senior Iranian diplomat said: "The IAEA was informed about the action was taken in the presence of the agency's inspectors, adding that "Unfortunately, the resolution was issued while Iran has the most transparent peaceful nuclear program compared to the number of facilities under the supervision of the agency in the world".
Most inspections carried out by the agency have been carried out on Iran's nuclear activities, MFA Spox said adding that:" The expectation was that in response to Iran's positive action and constructive cooperation with the Agency, relations between two sides would get good results, especially following the discussions of the Iranian delegation with the Director General of the Agency.
Iran should show the necessary reaction to the West
He said: The action of the four countries showed that they still want to disrupt the technical activities of Iran and the Agency with political approaches, and in this context, Iran should show the necessary reaction as it had already announced.
The spokesman added: "If Iran has duties related to the agency, it must also have rights. Iran's rights must be respected. Iran also adheres to its duties, as it has always proved in close and constructive interaction with the agency.
Politicizing human rights is not productive
Kanaani in an answer to The Iran Press News Agency's question about the human rights resolution against Iran said: "We have expressed our views on this matter. Iran's view is that politicizing the issue of human rights is not productive and the instrumental use of human rights cannot help advance the values and goals of the international community regarding human rights.
Kanaani added: " In our opinion raising Iran's human rights issues in the UN Human Rights Council is an action with political motives and we condemn these actions. West's approach is non-constructive and will not contribute to the promotion of human rights in any country and the international community.
"Some western countries are using human rights as a tool whose human rights record is very dark. There are countries in the United Nations Human Rights Council, and some of them are permanent members of the Security Council, which throughout history have committed massive crimes against humanity and endangered the peace, security and tranquility of humanity, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman said stressing that ' Some of These countries killed thousands of people in wars and interventions for their political desires."
Kanaani stated: " We believe that human rights claims against independent countries and their use to advance political goals disrupt the process of promoting the issue of human rights as an issue with a high status in the international community. We emphasize that countries that care about human rights should stand against these non-constructive approaches.
Germany's dark record of human rights in history
He stated: The German government has a dark record in the field of human rights throughout history, and they have neither a political nor a moral position, and they do not have the right to take such actions against independent countries, including Iran.
Iran is ready for constructive actions in return for constructive interaction
Kanaani about the possibility of referring Iran's case to the Security Council and using the trigger mechanism, said: " I do not wish to make predictions regarding the possible next steps of these countries. As Iran has already announced that it will have a constructive interaction in return for constructive interaction, and on the contrary, it will have a decisive, serious, and effective reaction in relation to any possible non-constructive action by these countries."
Kanaani said: We recommend that the countries that, unfortunately, use international forums to seek political approaches and exert pressure, stop these approaches and do not allow the politicization of specialized and international organizations.
The future condition of Iran-IAEA ties would be re-evaluated
Kanaani said: Following the visit of the Iranian high-ranking delegation to Vienna and good negotiations with the Agency, agreements were made to continue good and constructive cooperation between the two sides to resolve differences.
He added: Now, according to the political resolution issued by the Board of Governors against Iran, the next actions will be taken according to the new conditions, and it is necessary to re-evaluate the issues.
Iran MFA Spokesman said: The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran and relevant authorities are examining and taking necessary measures.
Political and Legal measures against hostile Persian media ongoing
The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs about the measures taken regarding the anti-Iran Persian-language media said: "Our political measures are ongoing, and preliminary legal measures have been taken and preparations have been made. Iran will use its diplomatic capacities and the relevant legal institutions of Iran will take action.
Zionist regime attacks in Syria; flagrant violation of international regulations
He also said: One of the main reasons for the continued illegal attacks of the Zionist regime against the territorial integrity of Syria is the lack of serious and deterring reaction of the responsible international forums including the United Nation Security Council and independent and effective countries of the region.
Any aggression of the Zionist regime against Syria is a clear and flagrant violation of international regulations, and in our opinion, it is condemned and deserves a serious response from the international community, Kanaani said.
Syrian people were victims of this regime's aggression in the past years. What can help to deter is the responsible action of the international community, and we support any action of the Syrian government to protect its territorial integrity and the security of its people, Iran's MFA spokesman stressed.
There will be no threat to Iran's security from Iraq
In response to a question about the actions of terrorist groups from the Kurdistan Region of Iraq against Iran, Kanaani stated: Iran expects that there will be no threat to Iran's security from Iraq, and Iraq must not be used as the place and point of threats against Iran.
We expect that the Iraqi government and the local government officials of the Kurdish region will fulfill their international responsibilities and fulfill the obligations they gave in the framework of bilateral negotiations with the relevant authorities of Iran.
Iran acting based on its legal rights to protect its security
This did not happen despite the repeated promises we received from the authorities of the Iraqi government and the region, and as a result, Iran is acting based on its legal rights to protect the security of borders.
The spokesman elsewhere noted: In the past month, we witnessed two meetings held in Tehran and Baghdad between the top security officials of the two countries, and in these two meetings, Iran's expectations were clearly stated and it was emphasized that the Kurdistan Region of Iraq should not be the place to export weapons and the equipment to Iran.
Kanani added: Unfortunately, Iran's expectations have not been met so far. Iran believes in respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Iraq and this issue is very important to us. At the same time, the separatist and terrorist groups that are inside the territory of Iraq violated the sovereignty of Iraq with these terrorist actions before violating the security of Iran and its border guards and citizens.
In response to a question about the mid-term congressional elections in the United States, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated: Over the years, nothing has decreased from the hostile policy of the American administration against Iran regarding the result of US elections.
He said: We do not pay attention to the internal changes and developments in the US. What the government and people of Iran expect is that the American Administration must stop taking hostile and illegal actions against the government and people of Iran.
Iran-Oman relations expanding in all fields
Regarding the visit of Oman's foreign minister and the release of Iran's blocked funds, Kanaani said: Our relationship with Oman is very close, friendly and productive. The economic and trade relations between the two countries have seen a growing trend in the past year. Strengthening these relations and consolidating them requires close consultations between the two countries in the banking and economic fields.
He added: Political consultations help the relations between the two countries. Regional security is important for both countries, and the two countries have close exchanges and good consultations, and regional conditions require consultations to continue for a period in the capitals.
