New York (IP) - Iran's President says the world's nations expect the UN to be an organization for the nations because the nations' voices will not be heard if it turns to the organization of states.

Iran PressAmerica: Heading a high-level political delegation, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran arrived at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York on Monday to attend the 78th United Nations General Assembly.

Upon his arrival in New York, the US, Ebrahim Raisi told reporters that the UN and the General Assembly are the chances to express the voice of the Iranian nation and explain the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Raisi said: "The Iranian nation's voice is stronger than ever because last year they accomplished a great victory against the enemy's cognitive and hybrid war."

Raisi is scheduled to have meetings with some other countries' presidents and deliver a speech to the Iranians living in the US during his trip to New York, besides his speech at the 78th United Nations General Assembly.
