Iran Press/ America: The US Treasury Department has put Azeri Jahromi on its list of sanctions under the pretext of what it calls 'censorship and denial of access to the Internet'.

According to a statement by US Treasury Department, under the new sanction, any of the Iranian minister property would be blocked under US jurisdiction, Iran Press reported.

"The US regulations generally prohibit dealings by US persons, or those transiting the United States, in such property," the statement added.

The US government unilaterally withdrew from the Iran nuclear deal (JCPOA) in May 2018 to put pressure on Iran to renegotiate the deal.

Since then, Washington has been imposing sanctions against different Iranian officials and organizations. 207
