Uganda (IP) - Iranian and Zimbabwean senior officials signed 12 documents of cooperation with the presence of the two countries presidents.

Iran PressAfrica: Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi left Iran on Wednesday to visit Kenya, Uganda, and Zimbabwe at the formal invitation of the three countries presidents. 

Oil and energy, telecommunications and information technology, social security and insurance, employment, higher education, science and research and technology, agriculture and fisheries, food and medicine, production and distribution of medical equipment, work safety, social support, rehabilitation of the disabled were the areas of cooperation in the documents signed. 

A memorandum of cooperation between Iran's tractor manufacturing company and Zimbabwe's Manga Company was also signed. 

Iran's President said in Uganda that the existing capacities to expand cooperation between the two countries are diverse and that the volume of trade between Iran and Uganda can be increased up to 10 times.
