IP- Turkish foreign ministry says Ankara has recalled its ambassador to Israel for consultations due to the humanitarian crisis and continuing Israeli attacks in Gaza.

Iran PressIran news: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had earlier said Netanyahu was “no longer someone we can talk to”.

In protest, Israel’s envoys to Turkey left the country last month. Israel later said it had recalled its envoys to assess bilateral ties.

The Turkish foreign ministry in a statement said that Sakir Ozkan Torunlar was being recalled: “In view of the unfolding humanitarian tragedy in Gaza caused by the continuing attacks by Israel against civilians, and Israel’s refusal to accept a ceasefire.”
