Iran Press/ Iran news: In response to an Iran Press question regarding knowledge-based companies' role to meet the country's needs mainly in industry and medical equipment, Sorena Sattari stated that Tehran's PTP endeavors to attract elites and specialists active in ICT, medical equipment including coronavirus-combatting equipment biotechnology, and stem cells.
Highlighting the PTP's significant improvement, the vice president noted that there are all-out efforts to turn the park into a tech city as soon as possible.
Sattari added that last year the park sold its products worth over 11 billion Tomans.
"Tehran's PTP has 250 companies and startups and the number is increasing," the vice president pointed.
He expressed optimism that the stated objectives would be attained as long as the PTP continues its rapid advancement.
