Tehran(IP)-The international simulation of the Ministers of Economy and Finance of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) meeting was held on July 20, 2023.

Iran PressIran News: Iran's Economic Affairs and Finance Ministry hosted the 2-day international event of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

During the event, OIC's members were modeling the foreign investment, Islamic Development Bank, and regional corridors.

Attending the event, Iran's Ehsan Khandozi, Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance said: "One of the most essential simulation programs is to use the experience of policymakers so that young scholars can enter into activities experienced and avoid simplistic policy making."

He noted: "National teams should be formed to practice policymaking, and international leagues among Islamic countries should discuss and compete on various issues such as banks and taxes."

The minister stated: "We are pursuing the empowerment of non-governmental organizations and active youth to effectively participate our country's youth in international events and strengthen the youth diplomacy category."

The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is the second largest inter-governmental organization after the United Nations, with a membership of 57 states spread over four continents.

The Organization is the collective voice of the Muslim world. It endeavors to safeguard and protect the interests of the Muslim world in the spirit of promoting international peace and harmony among various people of the world.
