The head of Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) Khodadad Qaribpour announced that the annual production of crude steel in Iran is planned to raise three million tons to 28 million tons in the current Iranian calendar year (ends on March 19, 2020).

Isfahan (IP) - The 11th International exhibition of Steel, Metallurgy, Foundry, machinery, and related industries kicked off on Sept 1 and will continue until Sept 4 in the city of Isfahan, Iran, with the attendance of several European companies.

Iran has produced some 7.2 million tons of steel products in the first 4 months of the Iranian calendar (started on March 21) indicating an 11.6% growth compared with the output of the same period last year.
