Anti-revolutionary militants martyr two Basij forces in western Iran

IRGC's Beit-ol-Moghaddas force in Kurdistan province in western Iran has issued a statement saying two local Basij (volunteer) forces have been martyred in the village of Zhivar near the town of SarvAbad in Kurdistan province.

Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Ground Force Brigadier General Mohammad Pakpour said Iran is ready for joint operations with the Pakistani army to secure the release of border guards who have been kidnapped on the Iranian side of the border with Pakistan.

The IRGC has confirmed that 14 Baseej (volunteers) and border guards were kidnapped by a terrorist group on Tuesday morning. The incident happened about 50 kilometers from the town of MirJaveh in Balouchestan of southeastern Iran, very close to the border with Pakistan.
