A senior military adviser to the Leader of the Islamic revolution, Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi has said: "The great powers of the 21st century in the Eastern World will be Russia, China and India, and we must maintain our relations with them and become a permanent member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization."
