London (IP) - Palestinian supporters protested outside the Israeli embassy in London to condemn the new round of attacks by the Israeli regime on Al-Aqsa Mosque and Gaza.

Iran PressEurope: "The participants called for an end to the occupation and racism and to stop the support of the Western governments, especially the United Kingdom, to the Israeli regime."

In the gathering, representatives of Islamic organizations such as "Friends of Al-Aqsa" and anti-war organizations such as "Stop the War Coalition" and "Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament" condemned the Zionists' attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque and the massacre of Palestinians.

Also, Jewish groups, along with Muslims and Christians, took part in demonstrations, chanting: "We Jews are here to tell Israel that we hate the regime and the Zionists, and that Israel is a bloody and murderous regime."

Speaking to IranPress, British citizen Sasha Semikham said that Israel is a racist regime, referring to the suffering of the Palestinian people.

The British citizen also criticized the double standard of the West and international organizations towards the Palestinians and emphasized the need to support the Palestinian people to reduce their pain and suffering.

Ben Jamal, director of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PCS), told Iran Press: "Our message is to announce that Israel has violated the right of Palestinians to worship in Al-Aqsa Mosque and has bombed Gaza once again."

"We are here because Israel is bombing Palestinians in Gaza and we are here because, since the beginning of 2023, Israel has been massacring Palestinians," the director of PCS said.

Jim Curran, a political expert from Ireland, also said: "The purpose is to protest against the terrorist actions of the Israeli regime, which has targeted Palestinian refugee camps and various Palestinian areas in recent weeks."

The Israeli army launched a series of airstrikes early Friday on targets in Gaza, saying they were targets of the Hamas group.

Tension has been running high in the past few days following Israel's assaults on worshippers in the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East Al-Quds.
