Iran Press/ Africa: Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran named the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as International Quds Day. Youssef Ali Balil, a senior member of the group against normalization of ties with Israel in Sudan, told Iran Press that despite the efforts to normalize relations with Israel, the Sudanese people support al-Quds and al-Aqsa Mosque.
Mohamed Ali Al-Jazouli, the head of the Islamic Movement in Sudan, also said that Sudanese participate in the Quds Day ceremony every year, and this shows their support for the Palestinian cause.
Mamoun al-Salihabi, a member of the People's Committee for the Defense of the Palestinian Cause, also said that history shows the position of the world towards al-Quds and how much they support the Palestinians and their lands.
The activist who supports the rights of the Palestinian people emphasized that the Sudanese people's view on Palestine is different from the rulers because of their relationship with the Palestinians, and they can be named the real supporters of al-Quds and the land of the Palestinians.
