Iran Press/ Africa: The Israeli regime's troops attacked the Palestinian worshipers gathered in Al-Aqsa Mosque on Friday, April 15, 2022, firing rubber-coated steel bullets, tear gas, and stun grenades at them during the assault early in the morning.
Following the Israeli forces' attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque, at least 152 Palestinian people were injured, and 400 others were arrested.
The condemnation came when Ali Al-Sadiq met with the Palestinian Ambassador to Sudan Sameer Abdul-Jabbar Taha, the Sudanese foreign ministry said in a statement.
The minister reaffirmed Sudan's stance toward the right of the Palestinian people in establishing their independent state with East Jerusalem Al-Quds as its capital, according to the statement.
The meeting focused on the current situations in the Occupied Palestinian Territories following the attacks by the Israeli authorities against the Palestinians in Jerusalem Al-Quds, said the statement.
The Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in Jerusalem Al-Quds on Friday witnessed clashes between the Israeli forces and the Palestinians when the Jews began to celebrate their Passover holiday that coincided with the second Friday prayers of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.
The Israeli regime's attacks on the Palestinian nation and their country continued since 1948 when the regime violated the country's territorial integrity and occupied it.
