Iran Press/ Iran news: In this meeting, Sarvar Bakhti, head of ECO Cultural Institute, and Shahram Azimi, Head of International Relations Office of Iran's Ministry of Sports and Youth, presented a report on the follow-up of previous meetings.
Sarvar Bakhti, who had attended the recent ECO Summit in Turkmenistan, said that the members welcomed his speech on "sports diplomacy among ECO member states." "He stressed that the relevant institutions should help revive sports diplomacy among ECO member countries.
Shahram Azimi, head of the International Relations Office of the Ministry of Sports and Youth of Iran, said: The draft memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Sports and Youth and the ECO Cultural Institute is ready for final review.
Azimi hoped that in an official meeting held in Tehran with ECO ambassadors, the memorandum would be signed by Iran's Minister of Sports and Youth and Sarvar Bakhti, President of ECO Cultural Institute.
