Tehran (IP) – The Spokesman of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the sinister shadow of slavery is still lingering heavily in the Canadian society.

Iran PressIran News: Nasser Kanaani made the remark in reaction to the report of the UN special rapporteur for human rights over the abuse of the Canadian natives. 

He said that the rapporteur's deep concern about the exploitation and abuse of migrant workers and Canadian native people by the ruling government further reveals the true nature of Canada's discriminatory approach to human rights.

Kanaani stated that slavery in Canadian policies continues to remain alive in new forms despite Canada's trumpeting advocacy for human rights in the world. 

The Iranian MFA spokesman called on the international communities to care about the human dignity of the native Canadians and migrant workers and prevent the continuation of the Canadian government's discriminatory policies when treating the people. 

Just for one case, 751 unmarked graves of the Indigenous people were found at the site of a former residential school in Saskatchewan, Canada.

Israel's meeting with anti-Iran elements; continuation of plots against Iran

The Spokesman of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs called the public visit of the Israeli regime's Minister of Intelligence with a number of anti-Revolution elements the continuation of inciting riots against Iran.

Gila Gamliel met a group of anti-Revolution elements in London as a part of her campaign in recent months to make connections with them. 

Nasser Kanaani highlighted the anniversary of "Black Friday" which coincides September 8, and noted that the occasion is the day of the bloody suppression of the Iranian nation by the Pahlavi regime, which relied on the support of UK-US-Israel ominous triangle. 

September 8,1978 marks the day that the US-backed Pahlavi regime suppressed thousands of protesters demanding an end to the monarchy's rule. 

At least 100 protesters were shot dead by the regime's troops.
