Lucknow (IP) - People in the Shia-dwelled area of Lucknow city in India closed their shops and dressed their buildings in black as the leader of Lebanon's Hezbollah Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah was assassinated by the Israeli regime.

Iran Press/Asia: The Secretary-General of Lebanon's Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, was assassinated by the Israeli regime during the bombardment of the southern part of Beirut on Friday, September 27, 2024.

The shop owners and trade unions in Lucknow installed photos and posters of the Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani, and the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei on the walls of the city in respect for Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

They condemned the Israeli Assassination of Hezbollah's leader Nasrallah.

Lucknow is the capital and the largest city of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh the most populated state in India.
