Iran Press/ Middle East: The Yemeni minister of transportation had previously announced that the Sana'a government would close the Yemeni capital's international airport to UN and humanitarian flights from Wednesday due to the depletion of fuel following the seizure of Yemeni fuel ships by Saudi aggressors.
Earlier, Yemeni Health Ministry spokesman Yousif al-Hadhiri warned that the health sector would be closed due to a lack of oil derivatives in the province.
Yemeni media have reported that dozens of hospitals in Yemen are facing severe fuel shortages and are on the verge of closing.
Following the military defeat in Yemen, the aggressor coalition continues to seize ships and oil products and prevent them from entering the port of al-Hudaidah, causing a humanitarian catastrophe for the Yemeni people, especially the sick in hospitals and infants.
Saudi Arabia, with the support of the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and several other countries, has launched a military invasion of Yemen since March 2015.
The warmongering by Saudi Arabia and its allies in Yemen has so far killed more than 16,000 Yemenis, injured tens of thousands, and displaced millions of people.
