Tehran (IP): The Head of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) said that €5,576,492,000 billion has been transferred to 6 Iranian accounts in the Qatari Al-Ahli and Al-Dukhan Banks.

Iran PressIran News: All the inaccessible assets of Iran in South Korea, which were kept in the accounts of Woori and IBK banks and the Seoul branch of Iranian Bank Mellat, were transferred on August 10 to the account of the Swiss Central Bank to be exchanged into Euros, Mohammad-Reza Farzin said.

Farzin said that all the transactions will be made by international brokers of Qatari banks as well as SWIFT mechanism.

"Yesterday, an official letter was received from the Qatari authorities, according to which the accounts of Iranian banks in Qatar were activated, and today [Monday] €5,576,492,000 billion have been deposited into the accounts of 6 Iranian banks at Al-Ahli and Al-Dukhan banks," he added. 

Access to the country's foreign exchange resources is being done in several other countries, and the results will be announced when it is finally realized.

Iran is pursuing the release of its money blocked in several other countries, with the results being announced when it is finalized.
