Tehran (IP) - Iran's Foreign Minister says it is the resistance groups' decision to target the American bases in the region due to the US' support for the Israeli regime's war on Gaza.

Iran PressIran news: Delivering a speech at Tehran University on Saturday, on the occasion of the National Day of Students, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said that the resistance groups are independent in their decisions to support Palestine.

Amir-Abdollahian stated: "The Americans sent us a message so that we tell the resistance groups to stop attacking American bases in the region, but we announced that they are independent and make their own decisions, and we respect their decisions, keeping on our support for Palestine."

He highlighted the blatant defeat of the Israeli regime against Hamas' October 7 Operation Al-Aqsa Flood. He said that seven equipped Israeli intelligence services were active round the clock, but Hamas collapsed the regime's authority.

Israel is struggling to compensate for the irreparable intelligence and military blow it suffered from the October 7 Operation of Al-Aqsa Flood carried out by Hamas.
