Iran Press/ Iran news: Commander of the Tehran division of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Yazdi in an exclusive interview with Iran Press said: "They thought that with the assassination of a Commander of the Resistance Front they could bring the Resistance Front to their knees, but today we see that the Resistance Front is on the scene with its all capacity."
He further explained, "We are witnessing American crimes in Iran, Palestine, Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, and other countries as they tried to burn the people of the region in their anger, but to know that the Basij (Mobilization) forces of the Muslim world would soon take severe revenge against the US."
Martyred Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani, the head of the IRGC elite Quds Force, and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the deputy commander of the PMF, have been martyred in the US strike targeting their cars in the Iraqi capital Baghdad early on Friday.
US President Donald Trump had ordered the US military to assassinate Iranian Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani, the Pentagon said in a statement.
