Tehran (IP) - The spokesperson of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs called the link between recent violent attacks on Iranian Diplomatic missions in Europe undeniable political support of the West for rioters.

Iran PressIran news: Iran's Foreign Minister criticized the Danish government over the ignorance of ensuring the security of the Iranian Embassy in Copenhagen.

In a telephone conversation with the Ambassador of Iran to Copenhagen, Afsaneh Nadipour, on Friday, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian followed up on the status quo after the attacker intruded into the Iranian embassy.

Afsaneh Nadipour explained that after the attacker intruded on the embassy premises while he was carrying a cold weapon in his hand, he began intimidating and destroying the cars parked there.

Today, in a tweet, Nasser Kanaani, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson, announced that "in a grave security accident in the Iran embassy in Copenhagen, an assailant tried and fortunately failed to stab the Iranian ambassador, who happens to be a woman."

"Today, in a serious security accident in our embassy in Copenhagen, an assailant tried -& fortunately failed- to stab our ambassador, who happens to be a woman. This assault on our diplomatic mission was the latest of recent violent & unlawful acts against Iran in Europe."

The spokesperson of the diplomatic agency emphasized: "The hosting govs have a legal obligation to take sufficient security measures. They're expected to do so immediately."
