Iran press/Middle East: "Americans are aiming to formally recognize the child killer Zionist regime," Brigadier General Hossein Ashtari said in an exclusive interview with Iran Press on the sidelines of International Quds Day rallies on Friday.
Brigadier General Ashtari added: "All the movements by the Unites States are in this way." He continued: "They should know that public opinion all over the country will not recognise the Israeli regime as a formal country and the true owners of the occupied lands are Palestinians."
Being asked about the Bahrain summit General Ashtari mentioned: "In this summit and others like it the Palestinians and their demands are totally ignored."
"An independent state and government formed by Palestinians' votes is certainly recognized by the world public opinion," Iran police chief added.
"We hope that the US and the Zionists realise the futility of what they are doing, which will certainly end in failure. All their plots and schemes are for destruction of Palestinians," he added.
