Qatar donates second cargo of drugs for specific diseases to Iran

Doha (IP) - The Iranian ambassador in Doha announced that the Qatari government had donated the second cargo of drugs for specific diseases to Iran.

Iran PressMiddle East: Hamid Reza Dehqani-Poudeh, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Qatar, wrote in a tweet: "The second cargo of drugs for specific diseases, donated by Doha, arrived in Iran by Qatar Airways."

The Iranian ambassador added: "Ex-US President Donald Trump's drug sanctions against the Iranians have caused a lot of damage to patients."

Former US President Donald Trump imposed sanctions on the Iranian people following the withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on May 8, 2018, including sanctions on drugs and foodstuffs.
