Tehran (IP)- Iran's First Vice President says the Russian President himself was eager to meet his Iranian counterpart in Moscow, so he officially invited Iran's President to Russia.

Iran PressIran news: Speaking to Iran Press exclusively on the sidelines of the National Clean Air Day in Iran, Mohammad Mokhber said: As the trip is considered an important one on its kind, various documents in energy, including (oil and electricity), exports, and trade, will be signed. 

"One of the main strategies of the thirteenth administration since being in term is to focus on expanding diplomacy and ties with its neighbors. Iran's priority is to improve relations with neighboring countries because having 15 neighboring countries is considered an important advantage for it, of course, Iran has good relations with all its neighbors," Mokhber noted.

We will see a flourishing movement regarding Iran's ties at the international level that will affect people's lives, he highlighted.

President Raisi, who had left for Russia at the official invitation of his Russian counterpart to deepen economic, political, and cultural interactions, arrived at Moscow airport a few minutes ago.

During the visit, the Vice President for Economic Affairs, Vice President for Parliament, Minister of Communications, Minister of Foreign Affairs, head of the presidential office, and Minister of Education accompanied the president.

Javad Owji, Minister of Oil and Chairman of the Iran-Russia Joint Economic Commission, who visited Moscow before the president's visit, met on Tuesday with Nikolai Shulginov, Minister of Energy and Chairman of the Iran-Russia Joint Economic Commission.
