Ardabil (IP) - Ahmad Beyglu Dam Project starts operation in Meshkin Shahr in the presence of President Hassan Rouhani and other senior officials.

Iran Press/Iran News: The Ahmad Beyglu Dam and irrigation and trenching network project started operation in Meshkin Shahr in Rouhani’s presence. 

Hassan Rouhani opened the project on Wednesday in Meshkin Shahr City in Ardabil Province and was briefed by project managers about the details of the project.

Ahmad Beyglu Dam is an embankment dam with a capacity of 27.4 million cubic meters that can be adjusted annually with a target of 18.92 million cubic meters to supply drinking water to Meshkin Shahr and surrounding villages and 2035 hectares of agricultural land.

In addition, the reservoir filling operation of Tazeh Kand and Bafrajard dams in Ardabil Province on Rouhani’s order through videoconferencing. 

Bafrajard Dam is an embankment dam with a clay core and a capacity of 6.9 million cubic meters.

Also, Tazeh Kand Dam has a capacity of 7.42 million cubic meters of water in its reservoir. 101/211/219
