Tehran (IP)- The President described freedom, justice, and non-violence as the central philosophy of the Ashura movement and said, "The Islamic Revolution in the world today is the standard bearer of Ashura ideals, and every day the followers of this message are increasing all over the world."

Iran PressIran news: Speaking on Wednesday at the cabinet session, while offering his condolences on the days of Imam Hussein's (AS) mourning, Ebrahim Raisi explained the philosophy of the Ashura uprising and said, "The central message of Ashura is the desire for justice and anti-tyranny, which the passage of time has not diminished its brilliance, but this message is becoming more widespread day by day."

Stating that seeking justice and rejecting tyranny are the innate tendencies of all human beings, the President said, "The secret of the durability of the Ashura uprising is its deep interweaving with human ideals such as freedom, justice and anti-tyranny."

After listening to a report on the implementation process of the "Daruyar" project by the Ministry of Health and Medical Education, Raisi said that a fair view is necessary to judge the big projects being implemented by the government and said, "The implementation of such projects requires coordination and delicacies that are sometimes neglected in comments and judgments."

He also said, "A great work has begun in the field of medicine, which may have some defects and shortcomings at the beginning, but today few people doubt the principle of implementing this plan."

Raisi believed that wise and responsible governance depended on the courage of the government in making decisions and said, "We should not shy away from the responsibility of major and necessary decisions for the country. The government is the manifestation of the will of the people and must take steps to ensure the public good and the interests of the people".

Raisi described the success of implementing large projects like Daruyar to depend on comprehensive and accurate information and emphasized, "In the implementation of such projects, it is necessary to be sensitive to the ambiguities that arise in public opinion and quickly give the necessary information to the people."

Emphasizing the importance of narration and explanatory actions by the executive bodies, the President added, "If the executive bodies do not present a correct and timely account of their actions, others will narrate these actions in such a way that the results of the government's important actions are questioned, and sometimes strengths are seen as weaknesses in public opinion."

Ministry of Health tries to provide better insurance

In this context, Raisi cited free insurance for uninsured people as an example and pointed out, "For example, until today, about 6 million uninsured people have been covered by free insurance, and the investigation of the remaining people's cases is still ongoing".

The President listed some of the work done in the government as one of the long-standing aspirations of the country and said, "Eliminating rent-seeking and drug smuggling by implementing Datuyar project, organizing the issuance of licenses, implementing the main parts of the comprehensive trade system and many other things should be well explained to the public opinion so that the greatness of the work done is not hidden to the public."

Presenting a report on the state of communication network disorders and home and mobile internet in the country was another issue that was raised in the meeting of the cabinet.

After listening to the report of the Minister of Communications in this regard, the President pointed out some public complaints in this regard and said, "The Ministry of Communications should carefully and seriously follow up on such cases so that the provision of services to the people and the activities of businesses that are on the platform of virtual space are not disrupted."

At the end of the meeting, the President pointed out that we are on the eve of the first anniversary of the beginning of the Popular Administration's term and said, "The media naturally evaluates the performance of the government on such occasions, and if the ministers and executive directors cannot provide the necessary information about the performance of the organization under their management and leave it to the media or do not take the initiative in informing their performance, the narrative of the government services may not be done as it should be."

Emphasizing the necessity of using all the media's capacity to effectively inform the people, Raisi acknowledged, "Simply presenting numbers and statistics do not meet the needs of the public opinion, and the information of the government agencies should be targeted and focused on the needs of the public opinion and the doubts raised in to be the media space of the country."
