Parliament criticizes Canada for hindering Iranian national voting

Tehran (IP) - The spokesman for the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Iran's Parliament said Canada did not allow the numerous Iranian nationals to set ballot boxes for participating in Iran's 13th presidential election.

Iran PressIran news: Abolfazl Amouei said on Sunday that Canada's behavior contradicted its humanitarian claims, and showed that the Canadian government did not believe in allowing the Iranian nationals to participate in healthy elections.

The Canadian government has so far refused to prepare the necessary conditions for holding the 13th Iranian presidential election under false excuses.

The caretaker of Iran's Interests Section to Washington D.C. Mehdi Atefat said two constituencies were set up in Oregon and Buffalo so that Iranian compatriots living in Canada can go to the polls there.
