Islamabad (IP) - During a meeting with Mohammad Ali Hosseini, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Islamabad, Seyed Naveed Gamar expressed his appreciation for efforts to facilitate bilateral trade and economic relations between the two countries.

Iran PressAsia: Gamar emphasized the need to increase trade and investment between Pakistan and Iran, stating that the current volume of business is not at the expected level.

Hosseini also praised Pakistan's Minister of Commerce for his efforts, which led to a 15 percent increase in trade between the two countries for the first time.

He expressed hope that the upcoming opening of the Pishin-Mand border market will further boost trade between Iran and Pakistan.
