Iran Press/Asia: Addressing a public rally in northwestern Bajaur district on Friday, Imran Khan said Iran is a close neighbour of Pakistan with which we have strong' brotherly ties and the relations between the two countries would be further strengthened.
He said: "During my telephone conversation with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani I told him that Pakistan will never forget the help Iran has extended to the country in difficult times," IRNA reported.
"Our ties with Iran would further strengthen in times to come," Khan said.

Imran Khan said: "For the progress and betterment of Pakistan, I’m ready to hold talks with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi."
He added: "We don’t want war, we want peace, we want to open the doors of trade, we want good ties with all of our neighbours."
Earlier Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and Prime Minister Imran Khan had discussed bilateral and security relations in a telephone call. Both leaders reiterated the importance of strengthening bilateral relations, a statement from Pakistan PM Office said.

President Rouhani during the conversation said Iran expects and awaits firm action from Islamabad against the terrorists who use Pakistani territory to carry out attacks against Iran.
Imran Khan promised that Islamabad will provide Iran with good news about the terrorists soon.
