Pakistan enjoys good relations with Iran: Pakistan PM

Islamabad (IP) - The Prime Minister of Pakistan described the successful foreign policy as the greatest achievement of his government, saying Pakistan has very good relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Iran PressAsia: Pakistani national media covered Imran Khan's press conference in Lahore as well as his remarks on foreign policy in the region, relations with neighbors, and the situation in Afghanistan, Palestine, and Kashmir.

"The biggest achievement of the current Pakistani government is the strengthening of ties with the countries in the region and the advancement of successful foreign policy, he said.

Imran Khan stressed: "Pakistan has very good relations with Iran."

Elsewhere in his press conference, Imran Khan referred to some of the regional Arab states' normalization of ties with the Israeli regime, stressing Pakistan's strong stance against the conspiracy.

Imran Khan went on to say that Islamabad never surrenders to any threat, and does not intend to recognize the Israeli regime. 

He stressed that the Palestinian cause should be fairly taken into consideration.

Pakistan's Prime Minister, Imran Khan hosted Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif for the fourth time on November 21 this year.

During the meeting held in Islamabad, Imran Khan stressed the importance of his country's relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran and the need to strengthen regional cooperation, particularly Iran-Pakistan trade and economic ties. 

Zarif, for his part, appreciated the support of Islamabad for Iran's membership in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
