Iran Press/ Iran News: On the sidelines of the weekly cabinet session, Javad Oji told Iran Press that a part of the agreements was those signed with Russia for the development of the oil and gas fields, especially the joint fields.
Oji then referred to the recent agreement with Iraq on the joint oil field of Azadegan and said that the project was worth over $7 billion of the domestic financial capacity.
He said that six banks and six large holdings were planned to participate in the project as the stakeholders of the oil field, the development of which kicked off.
The oil minister said that Iran was currently extracting 190,000 barrels of oil per day, adding that the amount will have reached 570,000 barrels per day in the coming year, using the capacity of financial sectors, including banks and holdings.
