Iran Press/ Europe: Members of a local anti-Islamic organization in Norway called 'SIAN' also insulted Prophet Mohammad (blessings of God upon him and his progeny) by claiming that Islam is a religion that promotes violence; Iran Press reported citing ABC Nyheter website.
According to the news outlet, during the event, which was supervised by dozens of policemen, SIAN members slammed Islam as “fascist” and a "religion of violence", insulting Prophet Mohammad (blessings of God upon him and his progeny).
"The Norwegian Muslim community considers this act not only illegal but also a hate crime" said Akmal Ali, president of the Muslim Union of Agder.
He referred to the "Stop Islamization of Norway" rally. Members of the anti-Islam group insulted the Holy Quran and burned it during the controversial demonstration in Kristiansand.
?The anti-Islamic Group SIAN was founded in the early 2000s and has stated its goal to counter the spread of Islam. The group claims Islam violates the Norwegian constitution and is in violation of democratic and human values. 212/211/ 205
