Iran Press/Iran news: The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) has designed and produced a new generation of centrifuges at the Natanz nuclear enrichment plant which will be unveiled in the near future.
The new generation of centrifuges will most likely be displayed on Farvardin 20 (April 8), the date marking the National Nuclear Technology Day.
Experts at the Iran Centrifuge Technology Company have been making hard efforts to design and develop various generations of centrifuge machines to serve the AEOI’s peaceful nuclear purposes.
According to the statement, the new centrifuges will be stationed at the Natanz enrichment facility in Isfahan.
The AEOI said these machines mark a breakthrough in advancing Iran’s peaceful nuclear energy program.
Iran started incremental withdrawal of its commitments under the deal in 2019 after the US unilaterally left the agreement and re-imposed nuclear sanctions on the Islamic Republic despite Tehran's commitment.
The European Union and the European Troika (Germany, Britain, and France) have pledged to maintain the deal after the United States illegally withdrew from it, but so far they have not succeeded in the practical steps they had promised to maintain it.
