Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has appointed one of his pot companions as responsible for the file of Israeli captives in Gaza and missing settlers.

Iran Press/ West Asia: The controversial former general Gal Hirsch who was recently indicted and accused of fraud, false reporting, and alleged tax evasion valued at $1.9 million, is supposed to follow up on any contact, negotiation, and possible agreement for the release of the Zionist prisoners.

According to the statement published by the office of the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, all government ministries will follow Hirsch's orders in this regard.

The trial of Benjamin Netanyahu began following investigations into allegations of bribery, fraud, and breach of trust by him and close political allies within his inner circle during his fourth and fifth terms as the Zionist regime's Prime Minister. Police began investigating Netanyahu in December 2016 and subsequently recommended indictments against him. On 21 November 2019, Netanyahu was officially indicted for breach of trust, accepting bribes, and fraud, leading him to legally relinquish his ministry portfolios other than a prime minister. Netanyahu's trial began on 24 May 2020, with witness testimony starting on 5 April 2021. The prosecution listed 333 witnesses. As of June 2023, the criminal trial is still ongoing.
