Tehran (IP) - The spokesman for the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly discussed important issues, including the Comprehensive Iran-China Cooperation Program, the Vienna nuclear talks, and the Natanz incident with the Iranian Foreign Minister.

Iran PressIran News:  According to Abolfazl Amoui, In the meeting, Mohammad Javad Zarif said that China would be recognized as a global power due to the world's transfer of power.

"Iran needs to have stable and independent relations with China, and a comprehensive cooperation program will help the two countries have long-term and strategic relations," Amoui said.

On Vienna talks between Iran and the P4+1, the spokesman also said, Zarif stressed the fact that the idea or agreement " A step for a step" is not approved and accepted by Iran, and within the framework of IRI, all sanctions must be removed, and verification will be done afterward."

He added that Iran and P4+1 discuss three issues in Vienna; the sanctions, Iran nuclear activities, and the verification mechanism.

The spokesman for the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly said that Zarif stressed Iran's commitments in JCPOA were clear and that others' commitments should be clearly identified.

"In the Vienna talks, there is no direct or indirect dialogue between Iran and the United States," Amoui quoted Zarif.

He also said that the Natanz incident was being investigated and that the initial assessment showed that it was a criminal act and nuclear terrorism.

According to Zarif, Iran responds that uranium enrichment in Iran will never stop, and efforts are being made to turn the threat into an opportunity, he added.

In the end, the spokesman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly said that the Assembly members emphasized maintaining Iran's principled positions in the Vienna talks and that the lifting of sanctions and its verification must be done carefully.
