Ilam (IP) - The Ilam University of Medical Sciences reported on Friday that 217 people have been injured after the explosion of a chlorine gas tank in the district of Chardavol town, located in the province of Ilam.

Iran Press/ Iran news: Following the incident, the injured people were transferred to hospitals in Ilam and Sarableh.

The situation in the explosion area is now under control, local officials said.

The explosion didn't leave any casualties.
