Iran Press/ Iran news: Bahman Kargar added that the Sacred Defense has been spread everywhere, in Lebanon or Syria, and makes nations resist.
"Accompanying with 36 countries led by the West and East, Iraq as a militarily-powerful country under Saddam Hossein's dictatorship attacked Iran," he said.
Iran had faced drought in 1914-1919 and lost 10 million out of 20 of its population which was unprecedented in history while just 8 and half million people lost their lives during world war I since the UK and Russia had occupied Iran; they did not let any export or import happen even Iran's production had been stopped.
"The enemies have assassinated Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, head of the Research and Innovation Organization of Iran's Ministry of Defense, and Lt. Gen Qasem Soleimani because they attended the Sacred Defense," he noted.
"The Sacred Defense' significant achievements can be recalled for posterities. It is not just for Armed or Military Forces but for all Iranians and nothing but the whole truth about the Sacred Defense must be told to the next generation," Kargar stated.
Unveiling ceremony of 80 titles of oral and documentary history books of Sacred Defense on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Sacred Defense was held on Tuesday in Tehran via video conferencing.
The Head of the Foundation for Preservation of Relics and Dissemination of the Values of the Sacred Defense Brigadier General Bahman Kargar, the head of the National Library of Iran Ashraf Broujerdi, and a number of authors attended the event.
