Iran Press/ Iran News: Rear-Admiral Alireza Tangsiri stressed on Sunday that the villagers and nomads are not forgotten because they refused to obey Saddam's Ba'athist regime and betray the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Admiral Tangsiri said the names of the nomads of Khuzestan province may not have been mentioned in the pages of the history, but their courage should be addressed.
Saying that some of the martyrs of the 8-year Sacred Defense belonged to the nomadic tribes of Iran, the commander of Iran's IRGC Navy said that the late Lt. Gen. Qasem Soleimani loved the nomads of Khuzestan province.
Rear-Admiral Alireza Tangsiri made the remarks on the sideline of a conference on the role of the Iranian nomadic tribe in the 8-year Sacred Defense held on Sunday in Khoramshar of Khuzestan, southwestern Iran.
