Iran Press/ Iran News: Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei met with the family of Martyr Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani on the second anniversary of his martyrdom.
Leader of the Islamic Revolution called 'truth' and 'sincerity' a theme, symbol, and orientation of Martyr Soleimani's school, noting that he became a role model for the region's youth.
Ayatollah Khamenei called Soleimani's martyrdom a national and international Islamic incident and stated: "The popular and innovative commemoration of Hajj Qasem throughout Iran shows that the nation is pioneer in appreciating the great martyr."
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution stated: "The Dear General of the Iranian nation endured the suffering of the struggle for the cause of the ideals with all his being and was carefully faithful to his duties towards the Iranian nation and the Islamic Ummah throughout his life."

Ayatollah Khamenei described Martyr Soleimani as a symbol of tireless and astonishing effort and work and said: "The heroic general of the Iranian nation, in all his endless works and activities, had an admirable level of courage and bravery, along with rationality; while accurately knowing the enemy and his facilities and tools, he entered the battlefield with might and tact without the slightest fear, and did amazing things."
Ayatollah Khamenei pointed out: "Today, Soleimani is a symbol of hope, self-confidence, courage, and the codename of endurance and victory in our region, and as some have rightly said, 'Martyr' Soleimani is more dangerous to his enemies than 'General' Soleimani."
Noting that the enemies thought that by assassinating General Soleimani, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, and their companions, they would achieve their goals, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution said the United States has fled Afghanistan, forced to pretend to leave Iraq and announce the role of an advisor without a military presence, which, of course, the Iraqi brothers must follow the issue with vigilance.
"The resistance front is advancing in Yemen, the enemy is crippled and without hope for the future in Syria; in general, the resistance and anti-arrogance movement in the region is more prosperous, more vibrant, and more hopeful today than it was two years ago," he added.
Ayatollah Khamenei stated that Martyr Soleimani, with the spirit of compassion towards martyrs' families, was so decisive and intense against the evildoers and corrupters inside and outside that even the news of his presence in an area destroyed the enemy's spirit.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution considered censoring Martyr Soleimani in cyberspace by the arrogant as a sign of their fear even of the martyr's name and of the spread of that precious role model.
Ayatollah Khamenei called Martyr Soleimani a lasting reality, underlining that his assassins, like former US President Donald Trump and others like him, would be among the forgotten in history and would be lost in the dustbin of history after being brought to justice.
He made the remarks on the second martyrdom anniversary of General Soleimani, the commander of the Quds Force of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), and Iraq's Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) deputy head Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis.
