Iran Press/ Iran news: The 2024 Paris Olympic and Para-Olympic games were held from 26 July to 11 August 2024 in France, with several events starting from 24 July.
The Iranian Olympic and para-Olympic athlete squads stood in the 21st and 14th place in the world ranking, respectively.
Earlier, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution expressed his appreciation of the Iranian Olympic athletes, the sports federations, and the coaches.
The Olympic team of Iran bagged 12 medals (3 gold, 6 silvers, and 3 bronzes) and stood 21st in the world; the para-Olympic team won 25 medals (8 golds, 10 silvers, and 7 bronzes) and stood 14th in the world.
